Navigating the subterranean Hive tunnels on the Moon in Destiny 2 can be a confusing experience even for seasoned Guardians. Among these cavernous areas, the Chamber of Night stands out as a crucial location connected to specific Shadowkeep campaign quests and weapon crafting steps. Understanding how to navigate to this subterranean sector enables players to locate quest objectives efficiently without getting lost in the Hellmouth's complex network.
Reaching the Temple of Crota Entrance
To begin your journey to the Chamber of Night, fast travel to the Sanctuary landing zone on the Moon for the quickest route. Head east toward the Anchor of Light and take the easternmost path leading into the Temple of Crota. Descend into the temple interior, following the primary path until reaching a large cavernous chamber with a Hive drop pod.
Navigating Through The World's Grave
From the drop pod chamber, turn right and exit along the cliffside path that wraps around toward The World's Grave. Continue forward through the corridors, battling or bypassing localized Hive forces along the linear path. At the end of the section, climb the right-hand staircase and proceed through the doorway to enter a large circular room.
Entering the Chamber of Night
Cross the circular arena where campaign bosses often appear and proceed into the pitch-black corridor beyond. Ghost will automatically activate a flashlight to illuminate your route through this dark tunnel. Following this corridor leads directly into the Chamber of Night, marked by expansive open caverns and distinct skeletal structures in the background.
Key Quest Objectives and Activities
The Chamber of Night serves as the destination for collecting the Horned Wreath, a key item required to complete the Essence of Vanity quest and craft the Tranquility sniper rifle. Players must navigate to the far end of the cavern near a large ribcage structure to pick up the quest item. Be prepared to confront elite Hive enemies, including Unstoppable Ogres and Powerful Knights, while completing activities inside this chamber.
